    Just a heads up the Canadian Royal Mint has released the above coin limited to 15,000. My Canadian friends are all frothing from the mouth & madly trying to secure some, thought a few of you collectors may be interested, cheers.

    Hmm Checked it out. It's tempting. I mean is demand really going to soar for this coin? If it was 80 bucks I would buy it. Also I don't get why it's 50 cent face value but is an ounce of silver.

    They have released the 50C coin as well as the $20.00 silver version which is the 1 oz unit.

    To be honest you walk into any coin shop in the US and you will see silver 1oz rounds of past football, baseball etc teams, rounds of players gone by, rounds of some championship win and they sell now pretty much at spot.
