I've just been given permission my my CIT representative to post the picture of this new coin, which is not yet visible on their website. Look for a new thread soon on this one!

Spoken with supplier, they also agreed it is a faulty one, but they do not have anything left.

That's bad. Does CIT allow you to send back the coin and get it fixed?

    Just asking.

Yeh, plenty in the market, but I think they will not be at the price I have paid for.

Supplier will discuss internally and call me back, I hope they can find a replacement from CIT. I really like this coin and don't want to refund it.

Hi clubman, can you post a close-up on the banding issue? Can't identify the banding problem on your photo.

It isn't difficult to see with the coin on hand, the rear leg of the wolf isn't curved naturally. I don't have the macro lense with me otherwise it would be a lot clearer.

Now I added a blue circle, it looks more obvious.

Ah now it is much clearer once you drawn the blue circle! Looks like you got a butt-heavy wolf!

Yeh, too heavy... that's the weakest point in the whole coin, I am sure this won't be the only coin which has this problem.

It is easier to spot the defect on clubman's photo that has the blue circle overlay. The wolf's tail should be thin and close to the rim of the coin; the rim has bent outwards a little on clubman's wolf.

Photo below is taken from an eBay seller, as a reference.
