Hi I've been offered a gold krugerrand with this description "proof gold coin, this commemorative coin was released in 2007 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Krugerrand, limitation 9999 complete collection this coin is number 25"

I can't find any info on LIMITED to 9999 coins let alone if you would know the issue number

In the image of the coin the bust and springbok seem to face the wrong way (if there is a wrong way) based on my googling the springbok usually faces right, this one is left?

    Any suggestions?

Springbok facing left... I would avoid. Is the seller reputable? Plenty of fakes floating around, especially on eBay. Have you weighed it? There's a teeny weeny bit of copper in Krug's so it should weigh just over 1 TrOz. Get it tested by a trusted dealer first before doing anything else.

It's possible it came from the 2007 commerative set but it's limited to 700- http://www.apmex.com/Product/63996/2007_5_Piece_Proof_Gold_Krugerrand__40th_Anniversary_Set.aspx

Your pic doesn't show so email it to me or upload it to imgur.com and paste the link here

Looks like one of those fake mini coins.

Agree on above posts re online security - I've taken the liberty of removing the link.
