I checked their webiste and it just gives me office locations. Is there a physical location i can go to buy silver?
Yes there is one, address is on their website. It's a little shop on one of the levels, a very nice place. Ahhhh, the smell of clean, fresh, packaged bullion.....
I think a few other members of this forum went as well - I found it great, first time I've ever been to something like that even though I've been stacking for a few years now. Had a fair bit of substance and research - Speakers were from the fund management and mining side of things (Jake Klein from Evolution Mining was my favorite) detailing why PM's should trend higher over the next 5-10 years. Commsec global head of commodities spoke a bit as well. Lot's of talk about how negative rates are impacting markets and how we could see the same in Oz, and how gold will benefit. Was really well put together - standing room only I reckon would have been over 700 people there. Everyone got a free 1/2 ounce silver Eureka tablet which I thought was really cool as well.
PM's should... hehe. If PM prices would increase over the next 5-10, then it will be because alot other stuff also increases over the next 5-10 In case it isn't obvious, the time of waiting till $50 to hammer the Grab Profit buttons, was in 2011, long over, and since, everytime a lower price sufficed to trigger. Will happen as long as there is profit to grab, which is as long as other prices don't get driven higher too. It's like always, they tell ppl what they wanna hear, sell them the product of the promised land then use the dollars for vacation on hawaii.
I haven't visited the Perth office - but it is listed alongside Sydney in the contacts page of ABC's website. Level 3, 40 St. Georges Terrace Perth, WA 6000
I went in dressed well and I was treated like a gentleman the entire time, the next time I went to ABC I was buying a couple of ounces of gold and I think a couple of hundred ounces of silver, but I was dressed in board shorts and possibly a wife beater singlet; I honestly was disappointed in the interaction with one of the girls there. They shouldn't care what I'm wearing when I'm picking up that kind of purchase. Or any purchase really, but I was clearly not some hobo.
I went there few time when I was first getting into bullion and was thinking about opening an allocated account, though I ended going with Perth Mint. Very polite ladies, but after buying few bars, talking about storage and other preliminary chit chat, I ended up with a hyperactive guy lol. If the lady who originally served me continued I would have likely opened an account with ABC, hahahhhhaaaa.
