Is Russia still buying dollars?

    Just a thought running through my mind after having read so many articles about Russia bypassing the petrodollar system, Russia buying gold and getting rid of its dollars.

    But: is there information about Russia still buying dollars?

    Or, did they already turn their back on it entirely?

    They still have reserves, but are they accumulating? China stopped in late 2013...

    Just read Russian news today. Russian gold miners asked Russian central bank to buy their gold mined in 2015. But the answer was "no". Very strange after so many news about Russia buying gold from all over the world...
