Because as stackers, that's what we do. When we see the jet engines firing up, flames everywhere, we know that its time to hop on board the rocket ride ride. Did you also load up big in July? Most of you surely did. As you saw the engines firing up in glory, a horrendous sound, with flames everywhere. As stackers, this is our bread & butter, riding "penny dreadfuls" into space, once they come good. But the thing I really hate about "penny dreadfuls"; viz. when the jet engines fire up, your hair usually gets singed.
I'm enjoying the rocket ride.......bought a parcel of shares back in Jan 2011 at .20c ......still can't believe what has happened over the last 3 weeks. Sold a parcel at $1.15 to cover costs and running with the rest. I believe SIR has a long way to go sulphide deposit which has the potential to be a new nickel province......I just hope the price of nickel can stabilise looking forward doesn't look good at the moment. It's only early days regarding the drilling programme but what I've seen so far this could go to $3 to $5 within the next year or so. The Diamond bit will tell in time fingers crossed.
This is a great example of why you invest in juniors who DONT HAVE 1,000,000,000 shares on issue! It constantly amazes me why people invest in companies that obviously dont consider shareholder value buy printing shares. Its exactly the same as printing money. This stock has 150mill shares on issue therefore the leverage is better. If the reason you are in resource stocks, is because the world is printing money - why do people invest in companies that do the exact same thing with their shares? Congratulations Sirius holders, let this be a lesson to everyone else.
Congratulations silversange... do you wanna share some of them? ha ha... As for myself, I'm *not* enjoying any rocket ship ride. But I looked at the shares, and thought "those folks are enjoying the ride... I wonder if any SS are also enjoying the ride." I'm just stuck on the side-lines in the dumb dodge-em cars, watching folks like yourself being propelled heavenwards
Thanks Black_Sun I only have a small parcel but still a profit is a profit. I've heard on other forums of some mum and dad investors making profits of $100K to $300K returns. Great life changing stories good luck to them. I wonder what the big players like Mark Creasy and the like are making on this. I'm looking to get back in around the .91c range if it ever gets there again. There was a placement I believe of another 10M shares at .76c recently and also there are approx 70M options available which can be exercised in the future. I believe 30M of those 70M options are due in Dec 2012 at .60c so I'm hoping this will reduce the price a little once they go live to create a entry opportunity. The drilling programme is quite aggressive so if they come in with great results then .91c will be a thing of the past and $3 to $5 here we come. Thanks again Black_sun hope you get a chance to get in at some point.
I was getting into graphite, this stock and Archer exploration were the only two at that time both were 15c - i chose AXE because i dont invest in Africa Im still ok with my choice - im not upset I missed it - its a shame but no big deal.
Sadly no, I am only interested in gold and silver stocks. Regis resources has been performing nicely for me though.
Oh crap got mixed up... im thinking of another stock entirely *der* Yeah Sirius surprised everyone, i remember looking at them last year and thinking - their webpage is rubbish, they dont look like their seriously planning to be around for a long time.
Keep an eye on BFE, they have been placed into trading halt due to almost 100% increase today, but the company claims they have no information to release. Because of its proximity to Sirius, the price has gone up due to speculation of them finding similar(as mentioned in BFE letter to ASX) or possible insider trading from the guys working out in the field (pulling out tube after tube of sulphides ) As I mentioned before, could be pure speculation... but one to keep on your radar just in case it isn't.
I think the second-stage booster has ignited for the rocket ship Sirius - the share price has risen in the last couple of weeks to $4.50! Nickel Stackers, anyone?
