Something different to try, I haven't played Xbox or Play Station for years although a real life version would be quite an experience came across it on the crowd sourcing website pozible

There was something similar in London in the early 90s that I went along to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alien_War

It was pretty good but I had spent the day shopping with my girlfirend and was laden down with shopping bags and there was nowhere to store them, so I had to survive a drop ship crash and a mad dash for escape whilst fully laden with crap from Camden Market.

The special effects were crap, looked like a little light bulb on the end of the guns to simulate the gunfire, but it was a lot of running down dark tunnels with women screaming, they sent my girlfriend down a passage to check for Aliens, judging by the scream I guess she found one.

    SPOILER ALERT

One of the group was not a fee paying customer and just as we got into the drop ship they were grabbed from behind and pulled out by an Alien, we didn't stop to help but I had my hands full anyway.

Speaking of Crowd Sourcing/Funding, is this a new thing? I only heard about Kickstarter a couple of years ago and the people who put me on to that are now going with a bunch called IndieGoGo.

Seems to be a lot of it about, do you think it will end up with Kickstarter taking over all of them and then being bought out by Google or something similar?

You only have to read a couple of the following articles to see that the powers to be aren't to keen on the whole crowd funding, the usual scare tactics will be rolled out threat of scams etc, anything taking away the profits of the banking system is not what the powers to be will want to give up in a hurry.

Crowd funding the threat for bankers

    You are not wrong!

I have had about 1 out of 23 go bad on me, lost about $33 on a card game, I got the print and play version but the physical one never turned up. Meh!

Had more positive experiences than negative ones so far.

Reminds me of this effort from before the internet :) http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/delidollar-offers-route-to-business-funding-1071370.html
