    Hi all,
The metals tracking app for iphone is currently on sale at $1.29 in the australian store. It was on sale for $2.49 a week ago when I bought it, so I feel jibbed, but hopefully someone else gets a better deal. BTW, I am in no way connected to the developer, so I hope this does not come across as an advertisment.

It's a good app indeed, I am paranoid enough to wonder if it reports to anyone or can be hacked to do so....

That's good timing. My first gold coin should arrive in the next 2 weeks.

Yes it is for a permanent app. I bought it for $2.49 aswell but i think its still worth the money.
Very good app to keep track of your stack for all PMs. Good feeling when the profit column increases every single day :)

Yep. Once you pay for the app it's yours. Generally there are no more charges, including updates. If you happen to purchase an app on sale, or even free, that's it. You won't get penalised at update time.

Exclusions to this rule are such rip off apps as the AFL app, which in 2009 was free, but in 2010 cost $5.99 per month or something.

It's unclear which direction navigation apps such as TomTom or Sygic will head. Free updates that include maps or paid map updates. I believe Cygic has provided free map updates in the past though.

I don't doubt preciousvault is good for the iphone...

If you want a freebie for your comp - Kitco Kcast great! Sits in your taskbar giving you current price of gold & silver.
