We’re not talking generally. The discussion has been quite specific.

First rule of business: you can’t know everything, but you can surround yourself with enough people that do.

again youre taking the word of the iota team over the team that discovered the vulnerability. seems they have proven it is a valid attack vector in their blackhat presentation.

i dont know of any other crypto that has created their own cryptographic hash function like curl-p.

the video was posted last year, since then they have furthered their information at the blackhat conference.

the conclusion they now draw in an intentionally placed back door in iotas cryptography, hence why it has not been completely fixed.

theres not much point in continuing this argument, this team is not the only ones to criticise iotas cryptography including some well known cryptographers, you can choose to ignore all their criticism and keep quoting iota blogs.

theres a saying in crypto, never marry your bags, seems like you are well and truly wed to iota.

i thought i did a pretty good job of explaining it, so how did it get nominated for a black hat award if its so secure? some of the biggest vulnerabilities in the world make it onto the list, not just shitcoins. or do black hat hackers not know what they are also talking about?

just because you choose to ignore the evidence doesnt make you right.

the process cant be verified independently as the coordinator is closed source and centralised, they then degenerate into personal attacks on the team.

if it is so improbable why does it get a black hat audience? you are yet to address why it is up for an award?

Says the man who consistently quotes Random Joe Reddit. LMAO

75% down when I last looked last night. Maybe you need to watch more YouTube before you spend your money next time.

Well done Dr Crypto. Even with all your technical expertise and insight into calling it a bubble, you’ve still managed to underperform the total market cap by about 25% and even your suggested expert Index fund is performing worse than the market as a whole. Your $3000 is now worth $800. Lol, my pick is down only 35% and I’ve got no idea what I’m doing.

    Apparently. o_O

If I was you I wouldn’t start any more pissing comps.

ok mate, ill leave it to the multiple cryptography experts you have chosen to ignore to provide their analysis and stay out of your thread.

Well looks like there are just bears left.

A lesson, never trust a guy that looks like this. (unless he just wants to chop wood)
