My guess: between US$350-US$400 we'll see some big sell orders hitting the market... a real shake-up.

Once I can get $350AUD each after fees on Coinjar, I'll be cashing the rest of mine out for now.

If it drops, I'll rebuy, but for now, I'm content with that profit.

Is that the after fee? I thought that was pre-fee? Then 1.1% off that.

Haha, I suppose you got in a bit later.

I've still got some of the Bitcoins (well, kinda?) I bought at the $80~ drop after the initial $250~ high.

It's been profitable no matter what happens

    :D

Yeah, I'm in it for a bit of fun!

I'll probably be a little greedy on this one, cause I don't mind if I lose it. :)

I haven't really minded the thought of losing it all since I've already covered all original costs and it's pure profit now.

But shit, I'll be on holiday in a month for 7 weeks, so why not!

Silver should still have a good tumble ahead of it - taken a little longer than I expected though.

I like the way the OP uses the word 'investing'... instead of what it really is at this stage - ie: pure speculation.

Kind-of shows the true mindset of GenY'ers towards the concept of 'investment' maybe?

I remember when 'investment' timeframes were 3-5, 7-10, 15-25+ years however the last couple of decades have busted all of those trad concepts good & proper...

What, with deregulation, disappearance of professional standards, greed, and the eclipsing of Western economies & political interests over time...

So now as an 'investment concept' I'd suggest one of the quickest ways to make a buck is to 'invest' in a firearm, rob an organisation at gunpoint and make off.

Fast return, low investment required, potential for repeating the deal sometime once the 'returns' in hand become eroded, y'know...

That's the reality of modern investment - and exactly what all the major banks are empowered with (and sanctioned by government no less) - nanosecond multiple burst neural net algorhythm HFT...

Call me a bit of a Jeremy Clarkson.

    Pure speculation: yes.
Now that we have established this, what?
Regardless of what you think is a good or a bad "investment", one with an open mind and able to read trends would have had a handsome return.
Why would you wait 10 years if you can mutiply your input tenfold in a couple?
Sure it's speculation, but aren't we all speculating the price of silver will go up in coming years (regardless of the underlying reasons)?

If there is another major correction I'll be jumping in... if not it doesn't really matter I'll just sit it out. But I think now is probably not a very good opportunity to buy in since it's gone up like 40% in a couple of days lol.

BTC just hit a new high of $360 on Mt. Gox - probably not the best time to "invest" ;)

Prices on BTC China are currently about $5 USD higher than MtGox - which is usually the most expensive around. China is dragging the price up kicking and screaming.

$400 by the end of the day?

It's deja-vu! I remember the crazy days when you would get $20+ increase in a day! haha
