    Hello Stackers and Lurkers,

Whilst looking around for some nice 1 month Gold charts stumbled upon this little PDF beauty.

    http://www.usagold.com/publications/pre-1933_screen.pdf

Investing in Pre-1933 Gold Coins for Asset Preservation and Profit Potential

Basically its a 25 page booklet with photos of some major world gold coins, with
an image of both obverse and reverse and the gold content in oz plus a quick little history lesson about each coin.

Thanks thucy, i think I'm getting a dose of numistosis.

Every investment portfolio should have something like that in the portfolio. I have coins in my super and artwork in my private portfolio. What a goddamn snob I am. :D

I am loving those coins from the PDF, and in my opinion a lot better than 999 modern coins issued
by Perth Mint or other mints due to generally lower premiums.

If i find some time, than i may post search queries for eBay for all the coins from the PDF.

Thanks for that. I just love these old coins even though I really don't know very much about many of them. Maybe that is about to change :)

Actually, I just like the older coins for their designs. As far as beauty goes, the official bust and heraldic shields or symbols on the older coins are far more attractive than many of the modern coins with their themes and animals.

Looks like it's safe to come out now; been a closet collector of these types of coins for years. :)
I am in the process of reworking my website to concentrate on more of these exotic beauties

It is no fun being a fulltime bullion dealer. I got to play sometime with the money I make :)
Don't worry, I am going back to my first love which is to sell interesting and exotic gold bullion coins.
I am getting pretty bored with kangaroo and koalas coins.

The Search Queries for all the coins from the PDF

NOTE - MANY OF THESE COINS COME IN DIFFERENT DENOMINATIONS TOO - SO IF THE 20 KORONA IS TOO MUCH FOR YOU - THAN SEARCH FOR THE 10 KORONA - USE THE SAME SEARCH
QUERY AND JUST ADJUST THE NUMBER FROM 20 TO 10

ALSO - YOU CAN ALWAYS CLICK ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE - TO ONLY SHOW COMPLETED LISTINGS
AND THAN THE ONES IN GREEN HAVE BEEN SOLD AT THOSE PRICES - THAT WAY YOU CAN CHECK
THE PREMIUMS ON WHICH THE COINS ARE TRADING - I.E THE ROOSTER 20 FRANCS WILL COST LESS THAN THE NAPOLEON BONAPARTE COIN -

** ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE COINS OR THE SEARCH QUERIES, ASK IN THIS THREAD OR SEND PM **

Yeah! It's quite an interesting coin. It's been a while since I had one for sale in my store.
It basically is an Iranian Sovereign; similar size and weight.

Thanks heaps Thucy - love these and hope to build on my small collection.
I really like the historical information.
