So yesterday I was in the city and picked some silver and gold at my local coin shop. On the way back home I picked up a box of pennies and a box of nickels ( 50 x rolls of each $125) I hoard pre 97 canadian and pre 82 US pennies (98 % / 95 % Cu ) and 1951 - 1981 nickels (.999 Ni). So anyways aside from getting about 3 lbs of nickel and about 7 lbs of copper I opened up a roll of. Nickels made up entirely of old octagonal and pre octagonal nickels years 1937 - 1960 most are in really good shape although circulated. Thought it was a neat find!
