Just wondering if its possible to plug in the name of a member somewhere so that I never have to see another post of his?

    It's a serious question...

Maybe you could color code the post of the member in question - another functionality

I do know what you mean though Parrie - its crossed my mind on occasion - then again, I'm a firm believer that everyone registered on here is capable of contributing something useful at some point :)

Yes.Other forums already have this facility .
This is a PM forum.Political forums are down the road for those who want them or have an agenda.

Bad blood doesn't make for good trading.

Maybe a forum subsection curtained off,so it doesn't appear on the main page?

I'd like to block all the buy/sell trades occasionally. They clog up the New Posts pages

Perhaps. I don't let differences in political views dictate who I trade with. I've made a number of trades with members I disagree completely with on several subjects.

    Stacking transcends politics.

    (Well, it should anyway).

think this would prevent bad blood between people. The person in question wouldnt know he or she is ignored by another. And we'd get less personal fights on here.

would be good to have two seperate "new posts" links wouldnt it? One for all the trades sections, and one for all the rest. That way we dont have to see all the great deals slipping away when we have no cash!

I know I've seen this facility on some other forums, I was just wondering. Maybe the member in question will pull his head in, hope so because some threads do often get off topic, mainly due to one particular member. I'll just have to close my eyes and check myself.

Probably all we really need to do.

I think what it really comes down to is if you see/read something that really annoys you, respond or clam up. After all, it is a democracy isn't it? :) It's the reader's choice.
