I think they could have used a better picture of them

    They could have done a front view & Williams bald spot on the reverse to add shine... Certainly not as nice as the Charles & Di 50c. Terrible!

    Pretty awful IMHO.

    You can tell they're using a photograph and running it through some kind of 3D filter to get the raised image for the coin, but the process just isn't good enough to give proper definition. That image just looks like a happy-snap with the colours inverted.

    Real portrait sculptors like Rank-Broadley and Machin must be looking at these coins with horror.
