HI VRS i normally break up proof sets. "with care". I think i produces a solid profit that way and by reducing remaining sets in the wild it increases the value of the lot as a whole. i do however shudder at thinking of carding your set though, then posting them to be graded overseas then returned and delivered by,, Bob the postie. Even though im sure your postie is a good person, that may even love coins and no doubt stamps a bit. Not one of them people in both directions will love your coins as much as you. Matching Rainbow and all. One bump, one shattered vase with granny Smithers ashes posted to the guy 3 doors down and its all over. Why they even want sets carded is beyond me. anyway, Individually, if in the set has a key date. and i could sell it for as much as i got the whole set for, I would. Or if i could sell the lesser coins and keep the key date and still break out even i would too.
