How will rising crude prices (peak oil) effect mining stocks?

    It will lead to another 'correction'.

    Everything got pummeled in 2008 shares and commodities.

    Considering the attacks today going on against silver on the COMEX, i'd say they will take any opportunity to drive down the price of silver.

    We get belted, then have a massive recovery, incredibly quick.

    It isn't until the wealth in the world uses gold and silver as a 'flight to safety' when things turn sour that you will see prices hold up and surge forward. That is the day the USD dies. IMO the USD still has plenty of life left.
