Wasn't the Macquarie mint making Niue coins? They are a branch of downies so I have been lead to believe.

I dont think that these countries even have their own mints.

Private companies mint them ie. Pobjoy Mint and others

"For memory, these are dealt with by the New Zealand Mint..."

    Correction to above ^^^

Cook Islands coins... Royal Australian Mint & Franklin Mint in the US.

Palau... Minted mostly in various US Mints.

Niue... New Zealand Mint reports... "Back in 2008, a contract between Niue and the Mint was signed to allow the production of the coins on behalf of the small country of Niue".

I thought I saw something on the RAM site about them minting Cook Islands coins. Ask RAM, they'd know.

PALAU coins are really nice. Wish there was a dealer for them in Oz.
