I'd like to nominate this for the funniest thread - as long as sideways doesn't fuck it up by posting

How much Chuck Norris is enough? :p
    It was about silver remember?
There is no such thing as enough silver.
If you have more than what you need and want, then you can play Santa Claus and make yourself popular just like State.
Even more popular, because people know you produced for it, and your silver has purchasing power.

Sorry Pirocco that is a nice drawing but not accurate.

The only present Chuck Norris gives out on Christmas is allowing you to live. Chuck Norris once filled in for Santa on Christmas. This was an horrible mistake, as Chuck Norris can deliver only two things: justice and pain.

Chuck Norris also doesn't wear a bishops mitre. Or bare his nipples in public. Well known facts.

What you think State losing popularity is?
    That IS justice.
If there is any1 able to bring Justice for State, it's Chuck.

"Too much" is when you put silver before the health of your family and pets/animals. "Too much" is when you put silver before critical repairs that affect your well being in your home. "Too much" is when you put silver before the mortgage on your house. "Too much" is when you put silver before the utilities payments. "Too much" is when you obsess about silver so much that it makes you believe unrealistic things like that silver is indispensable, that it has intrinsic value, or that silver will shoot to da moon tomorrow.....silver is merely a commodity that is today also viewed as an asset which is just as susceptible to market forces UP and down as any other commodity that is in surplus. "Too much" is when you have run out of money to store your silver.

Remember, one can always sell that silver again, to get priorities rearranged.
    Just like dollars and euro's.
And they all can increase and decrease in value, relative to the goodies you used them as inbetween step to.

You can't be serious, Pirocco. Sell that silver?...to whom and for how much??? You sell blobs to a dealer and you get hit for a loss when the spot price is lower, the same, or even somewhat higher (due to the reversed/negative buy-back premiums).

The only time it makes sense to sell blobs is if the silver spot has moved up substantially from when you have purchased...granted that you purchased those blobs with very low premiums.

There are people in this forum (I know of at least 1 for certain) who have bought "too much" and were forced by circumstances to sell (some) at a loss.

Silver is no panacea and there's plenty of risk in buying physical silver...perhaps not as risky as some other products / commodities that you can invest your fiat money into...but nonetheless, risky.

Those who have not been forced by circumstances to sell some of their physical silver during a consolidated or sideways market should consider themselves fortunate. Unforeseen major events can happen at any time and having to convert silver back into cash to pay the lawyers, or doctors, or taxman, etc, etc, etc, etc can mean that you have taken a monetary loss in buying physical silver.

"Too much" is when you have not saved enough fiat money for rainy days.

    You can win.
    You can lose.
    With any product.
What it will be, depends on your price based decisions.
There is no such situation as 'too much silver', just like there is no such situation as 'too much money'.
If you run into problems, then that is due to your price based decisions having been bad.
Not due to the metal. Not due to the market of the metal.
    This is all obvious, no?
So let me then bounce your question back: are YOU serious?

Of course they will but this has nothing to do with hunting or iphones.. I mean do you really think your neighbor's are going to act normal when everyone is in panic mode? people do some crazy shit when they panic and killing someone to take that can of corn is not out of the question.

exactly.. that is the number one reason why I love gold or silver.. you can just sell it.. you might lose money sure, but are you going to lose more then 50-70%? i doubt it unless you buy at peak
