This note is not a fake and was taken out of circulation by the current owner, the serial numbers were printed on the incorrect side and across the note and is incomplete. Any idea of the value? Its not in perfect condition.[imgz=http://forums.silverstackers.com/uploads/5904_027.jpg][/imgz] [imgz=http://forums.silverstackers.com/uploads/5904_028.jpg][/imgz] [imgz=http://forums.silverstackers.com/uploads/5904_029.jpg][/imgz] sorry about the sideways action, think we all know I'm not pro on a pc
The numbers would look just as crooked the right way up anyhow. When you are resizing your pics before uploading look below the image for a curved arrow thing. You want the one that says "rotate 90deg." That will turn your pic around and save stiff necks all round.
yes if selling put the photos right way round will double the value of your note. my advice get it verified by a well known expert and then it would be worth several hundred $ +
Quite surprised at the lack of information I received on this note. Nothing unless it has 1 of spanners certificates? Sorry about the pics, I wasn't on my pc. I'm shit with my pc and worse on other peoples It is real. I personally haven't seen 1 with the serial numbers like this before and I was wondering if it was rare and maybe worth something? I will try and talk the owner into getting it verified and graded but till then any information would be appreciated.
good idea to get some sort of cert for this type of note. its worth more than 100 $ how much more i can not say but if it was mine i would want 1000 $ for it at least. really look on eBay etc for similar items that is the best price guide.
sconejon Goodaye mate. Perhaps you could contact the Reserve Bank Of Australia - Museum Of Australian Currency Notes. The first step would be to ensure the note is legitimate. Once it's confirmed as a legitimate note with error, then you have a collectable note. Here's some contact details. http://www.rba.gov.au/Museum/Displa...he_currency/inflation_and_the_note_issue.html
