This is a ? that will never be answered because there is no way that any SS member would disclose the size of their stack.

However I often think about this question and have an idea that it would be split up into several sections and maybe even more.

Here is my thoughts on the issue.

Section A Small stackers who have just started stacking and are accumulating a couple of ozs week/month.

Section B Medium stackers who have been stacking silver for at least 3 years and are striving to get into the 1000 oz club

Section C Traders of silver who buy and sell with the idea of $$profits made to buy silver.

Section D Those who have found out about silver and decided to invest large amount of $ into silver instead of banking it.

Section E People who have a SMSF and earn good money putting a good % into PM's

Section D2 Super rich stackers who have huge amounts of silver and buy in large amounts.

Section E Those interested in numismatics and don't worry too much about spot.

Are you in one of these sections? Or do you stack for other reasons?

Interested to hear your ideas of those that make up the SS members!

Section F People using silver as a method to save money because if it remains as cash in their banks they will spend it up on binge drinking and gambling down the pub

You forgot all the transitional stackers. The coin collectors who are starting to collect bullion coins, the people who would only buy bars for savings but are expereinced enough to start looking at higher premium rounds for flipping etc.

I think most people will work their way through the list at some stage.

I honestly believe I have saved more on stacking through not having easy access to my savings than any upturn in the market.
