Hi everyone, here is something I can not work out. Lets say I want to send someone a photo, jpeg or png file while in a conversation with them how would I do it? I've tried but I can't seem to do it. OK so I click on the camera, it says add media and then it says you have no media. So I click add media at the bottom, it come to a site category. If I do that everybody can see it, is that right? So is there a way to send a photo privately through a private conversation? If so can you tell me how? Thank you.
Just upload your image to an external site like imgur and then paste the url in the convo for the recipient to click on and see I just use imgur for everything I post here, and not the media section [.img]pasteurlhere[./img] will have the image display in thread/convo (but remove the red dots, just had to put them there so the code would show)
Can they be kept private on imgur or can anyone see it? The is some interesting photos there on the front page, especially the one with the cat!!
All my pics I post here and in messages I store on imgur for the last three years now. If you open a free account, then go to settings & set your album default to "HIDDEN" > then upload your image to the album. When you click on one of those images you will get various codes. Copy the code second from the bottom which is the 'BBcode' & paste that directly into a message on here, the pic will show in the message.
