So now, if I look at comparesilverprices.com
these places are charging roughly 8%-17% over spot prices for a 1oz maple leaf.
To me that seems high, but whatever, they gotta run a business I guess.
Anyway, my question is what were premiums over spot when silver was say $4/oz? or $8/oz?
Its probably an easy question, and sorry for asking it, but I just don't have the history in the subject that most here probably do.
    Thanks in advance.

I don't think I was alive when silver was $4, however it's interesting to not that on here 10 oz bars commanded about a $5 premium over spot for most of the climb from $30-$40, but now I see them go for $2 over.
