Hi all. Already posted a couple of times but thought I'd drop a post here to give everyone else a quick rundown on who I am. As you probably judged by the subject line, I'm from sunny North Queensland and I've been collecting and stacking silver for the past couple of years. I'm not a big player by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm accumulating enough for my "retirement" to ensure I can still enjoy a good quality of life once I've decided I've had enough of working as a slave. I've had a quick read of some of the posts and I wish I'd found this forum ages ago as it's a great resource that is filled with friendly and like minded people. I'm not overly educated and I'm away with work a fair bit (hence investing in silver to fund an early retirement ), but hopefully I'll be able to contribute with some words of wisdom (or just ramble) when I can. I finally convinced one of my sons to start investing in silver and he bought his first stack of bars and coins just last week and after he received his order and was able to hold it in his hands he's now hooked and looking to add on a regular basis. Just gotta convince my other 2 sons now and my work will be done Look forward to chatting with you all in the future.
Welcome to the Forum. Good luck with the kids, as soon as they ( non-stackers ) hold 10 oz in their hand they get hooked. Last 6 months chart also helps.
Thanks guys. I've bought my other 2 sons each a copy of Mike Maloney's "Guide to Investing in Gold & Silver" and a silver Kook coin as part of their Xmas pressies, so hopefully this will pique thier interest. Maybe I should add a A3 copy of the silver chart for the last 6 months as well. Hey gotta do what you can to get them to see the light
Hi! Silver Is money. Welcome. What a great idea for a Christmas Present. My youngest son has stacked 2oz gold and 50ozs silver during the last year. Hope that all your sons jump on the silver train in 2011/ Regards Errol43
Nice mate, very nice. My kids are both 'stackers' already and neither of them are even teenagers yet. I'm hoping to breed the ideology into them young and ensure that it stays with them for life. Their uncle is going over to Hong Kong this week on business and he asked them what present they'd like and both said 'silver please' he was somewhat floored. Kids generally ask for toys or sweets, mine want 1oz Pandas. lol
& there are new superfake Pandas coming through, they shimmer like the real thing. The loupe magnifier discovers their secret identity.
From the title i tought that there was another stacker here in the Hunter Welcome to the fold, glad that you have become active
He'll be buying from a mint supplier direct in Hong Kong, I'd say it's a good chance they'll be fine.
