Help With Valuing Engelhard Silver Bars Please

    Hi SS,

    I have two Engelhard silver bars that I would appreciate some help in valuing. The first one is a 10oz bar I purchased from an American coin dealer and the second is a 1kg bar I sourced in Australia. Both bars have some wear but seem quite presentable. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if there is a better place to put this thread can one of the admin staff please move it for me :)

    Not sure on this size but a recent auction on 1oz Engelhard fetched $60/oz...

    If I could get $60 an oz on either of them I would be a very happy stacker :)

    I paid $1015.00 for a 1 Kg Engelhard on eBay a few months ago..back when spot was around $27.00 oz.
    That translated to about spot +15% .

    There's an ebay seller who has these 10oz bars ranging from $500-$1000 depending on how old they are :/
    Kg bars don't fetch much of a premium
    Can't find the link to the ebay seller

    Thanks a lot guys. I think I will start my very first auction with the 1kg bar and see how it goes. The EB dealer certainly has a lot of Engelhards for sale, I wonder if he actually gets the prices he wants.
