Hi, I have a question about the actually sizes of the Perth Mint Gold Lunars when they are in their capsules. Does any body know or could they measure the actually diameter of: Perth Mint 1/10 oz Gold Lunar in Capsule (18.6 mm naked)? Perth Mint 1/4 oz Gold Lunar in Capsule (22.6 mm naked)? Perth Mint 1 oz Gold Lunar in Capsule (39.34 mm naked)? Thanks
Thanks Alor, I actually found that link last night but I can't see where it gives the actually sizes of the coins in capsules? It just gives the sizes/diameters of the coins themselves but thanks for your link
SI and SII are different. SII have larger capsules by its own. The sizes are pretty much the same as the rest of PM capsules. They share other AU/AG capsules ie Kanga share with SI also with Kooks.
Here's some of them... S1 - 1oz = 37mm S2 - 1oz = 43mm S2 - 1/4oz = 25mm My ruler doesnt do bees dicks so thats as close as I could measure.
he he he, thanks, that's great and close enough. I realised I should of been more clear and said outer diameter of capsule because I want to purchase a storage tubes for them Thanks Eureka Moments, that's just what I wanted If somebody could tell me the outer diameter of the 1/10 oz Gold Lunar in the Capsule I will be done
Not that it helps but for 1/20 the mouse is in a different style cap from the others. Only one I have noticed so far can get a ruler out and measure tomorrow. Season two
1/20 - 9.48mm 1/10 - 20.64mm both for SII Lunars. Caliper measurement. And its all over Why would someone use bee to measure? Sell the xag make more mulla...
I have a 1/4oz here, I can measure it with some calipers tomorrow if you want. One question - do 1/4oz gold PM kangaroos usually rattle a tiny bit in the capsule (back and forward, not left to right)? It was a buyback, so it might not be the original capsule...
just when i thought you had a grip on aussie slang .... now i know it was just luck . Salt & vinegar goes with fish & chips not insults chip .Should have quit while you were ahead
Sorry about dragging up an old thread but just in case anyone uses this for reference the 1/20 size can't be right if the coin diameter is 14.6mm. Measuring with my bee I get 1/20 = 17.80mm 1/10 = 20.70mm 1/4 = 25.50mm
Internal or external diameter? Looks like you have given the external diameter. *Someone are using the Airtite brand for replacement. What I quoted is internal diameter. Yes there is a flaw there. Look like you have pick it up. after (5 months ) Research, research!!! Do your own....!!! I have most of the capsules now for AU and Ag sizes. The older one are harder to come by. @ Ample stocks level.
