I came across this coin in an old album I bought at Auction a while back. It looks to be an old hammered coin ? And you can see where it has been clipped or filed around the edges. I don't know much more could be nothing, could be something ?

Thanks for any help or where to start looking ? Approx 30mm diameter.

Hi Austacker, it should be a French 1600s' jeton. Nice find. not a bad condition for an ancient coin:)
