Signed up to this forum sometime back, but never really introduced myself. Been collecting for almost 5 years now and made many bad decisions in the beginning. Started reading more and learning as much as possible from books, coin club members and a few dealer friends and the quality of my collection has improved greatly. Love silver and have a nice collection going. I have a complete set of the Silver Kangaroos on collector cards along with the 3 Kangaroo at Sunsets and the 2010 & 2011 High Reliefs. Put together a 1oz. Silver Kookaburra set that is album toning. Very partial to the Australian coins. The art and craftsmanship is the best. Also like the Ameican Silver Eagles, both mint state and proof and have some other bars and rounds.
Had a question regarding a 2007 Silver Kangaroo with collector card a couple of weeks ago on this forum and was happy to receive so much help. Everyone here seems to be really nice and friendly. I didn't really know very much about Australia, but the coins and bullion I've collected from there has increased my desire to learn more. My neighbor is an Engineer who has traveled and worked all over the world. His met his wife in Australia. He told me that when I decide to marry, that I should go to Australia because Australian women are easy to get along with and are cultured. Not really sure, but I guess you guys would know more about that than me. But anyway, that's what he said.
Really looking forward to being a part of this forum and really glad I found it. Thanks.

    Welcome aboard.

    P.S.
Is a Schauzer a german machine gun or a slang term for a woman's ladybits ?

Could you be as kind as to share some pictures of your Schnauzers? :)

My father loves them and my old work mate (ex-Dog squad) thinks that they are the bees knees

No. No argument. LOL:) Schnauzers are German dogs. What are "ladybits"? Never heard that before.

My fathers last and final Schnauzer. He had one awesome Schnauzer followed by two numpties. This one went crazy when the Alpha dog died.

Ha! Found a site called "Urban Dictionary" and looked up the word "Ladybits". Now I know what you're talking about. I had a feeling that Silver Stackers would be an informative forum, and I was right. I've already learned something! Have a list of other words I don't know the meaning of either that I've seen here. Will be spending time looking those up too.

I have a friend that collects Ancient Roman coins and he and his wife have a great little Schnauzer that they call Arnie. It's much easier to call him Arnie than it is to say his full registered pedigree name which is "Arnold Schwarzenschnauzer."
