no...(touch wood)... I normally chk the received parcel from posty before sigining-off.. If some what it has been tampered, I get his details and not to sign the parcel until speaking to posty/delivery supervisor to get instruction..
No (but as dragafem pointed out it is a standard ruse on eBay by unscrupulous buyers, and you can bet your a55 that eBay & Paypal will uphold the buyer's position 99.9% of the time)
Happy New Year VRS. Hope you're off to a good start, mate. Interesting comment re ebay. Last year as a result of an ebay sale I sent some silver bars to the northern hemisphere. It was very early in my silver psychosis (lol). Long story short, the buyer claimed it didn't arrive. Another longer story short, PayPal were exceptional in helping me and closed the case in my favour. Two other ebay members contacted me after being stooged by the same buyer. I know ebay found in favour of one of them but I never heard back from the second guy.
If the dodgy buyer has done the same thing before and sellers have made the same complaint twice or more then Paypal investigations team are pretty smart to this kind of thing and will favour seller, but the situation has to occur a few times before a pattern is established - you wouldn't believe how dumb some fraudsters are (actually sure you would lol!)
