First post here.....wandered in here from the Coin Community Forum. My name is John, and I collect silver - mostly Morgan silver dollars and American Silver eagles, with the occasional purchase of out-of-the-ordinary. I collect Morgan silver dollars for both their numismatic and historical value, and the ASE as a bullion investment for my new grand-daughter. When I'm not shopping for silver, I also dabble in restoring old firearms to their former glory and raise AKC registered Siberian Huskies under the kennel name SIBEX Siberians. Oh, and I'm a semi-pro digital photographer & writer. In my "spare" time I work for State Police as an Emergency Dispatcher to pay the bills. Hope to learn a lot here and contribute when warranted. Cheers ! Here's a recent purchase I bequeathed to my eldest son for his birthday :
Nice Welcome. I love my Morgan's. Not because mine are rare or anything but because they are already dinged up so I can play with them. They are my primary "fondling" silver. I love the ringing sound when I play with a bunch of them on my desk (which I am actually doing right now). Having a real silver dollar from over 120 years ago is also really cool.
Greetings, I was reading through the Lakota website the other day for some reason. Can't remember why, but welcome anyway. Edit to add: I remember, I was reading about their bank
Hello John and welcome to the good ship SS. I visit CCF everday to keep up with the latest talk on RCM NCLT.
