Hi, new member here. Just wanted to say hello to ye all. Fairly new to collecting Silver, just a few of the usual bullion coins. I am going to launch in the the world of bars shortly though, as I think Silver is the way forward. Please be nice with me while I settle in here! Thanks.
Thanks! I am in rural County Cork... surrounded by cows. (Cork city is only a 30 min drive away though.)
Nice Steve - My lot are originally from Cork & Tipp but I lived in Manchester (the centre of the civilised Universe, of course) for 30+ yrs until we left for NZ in 2009. (Now in QLD after all that daft earthquake nonsense.) I built a house in Brandon, Kerry, in 2004-5 which we sold to an ex-VP Bank of America from San Diego - He'd ditched his wife, put his stuff into a container & shipped it to Tralee - where he shacked up with Miss Czechoslovakia - him 67, her 23... I miss Ireland mucho. When I met Old Con in the local pub in Cloghane, in front of a raging peat fire, he said 'When did you leave?' - I said '1852', to which he replied 'Well why'd you take so long to come HOME?' lol! Love the place... Here's a little vid from my mate Martin McCann's band 4 ya... Kinda appropo.
