Answers :- It is already too big. It is already spending enough. The point has been reached. The real questions are :- Where will our current trajectory take us? How bad will it need to get before a critical mass of people realise a change is needed? How will be recover from it? I can have a crack at a few answers to those questions too, but I'll let others have a crack at it.
