As one of the most powerful animals in Eastern culture, the majestic tiger has been immortalised in rare Argyle pink diamonds on The Perth Mint’s most significant release for 2020.

The opulent Jewelled Tiger coin is crafted from 10oz of 99.99% pure gold and adorned with a finely sculptured three-dimensional 18 carat rose gold tiger pavé set with nearly three carats of fancy vivid intense pink diamonds from Rio Tinto’s famed Argyle Diamond Mine. In contrast to its warm hue, two vibrant green Columbian Muso Emeralds represent the eyes of the mighty animal.

Priced at $259,000 (incl GST), the Jewelled Tiger coin is available for purchase instore or online.

The tiger looks spectacular. Personally I think the coin ruins the tiger. They should have just made it a 10oz gold tiger with jewels. More stunning in my opinion.

When I first saw this photo, I thought it was a newborn pinky mouse or marsupial or panda on the coin.

That explains why when ordering i couldn't get coin 1/8 and was getting 2/8.
Well after both our cancellations i would take a guess that all the coins are available again

I didn’t know it was a 259k coin or diamonds when I saw the photo. Just a show how knowing the price on an object and what it is made of can change your perception of value.
