What is a reputable online place to buy gold and silver in the US? Which one has the lowest price, or are they more or less equal in price? General comments about each website is greatly appreciated. My initial search brings me to either:

Have dealt with all of the first three companies on multiple occasions. Apmex is the only one of the first three companies that will take back damaged coins. Gainesville and Provident don't, no matter what they claim. So, you have to determine if the higher Apmex prices are worth the easy ability to return a coin if there is a problem.

Depends on what products you are looking to buy. No one dealer will have the lowest prices and best selection.

Here's one place to compare prices: http://www.goldprice.org/

Silvertowne is about the cheapest I have came across for small orders. Other than that I usually go with provident. Apmex isn't really an option for me because I live in the same state that they are located in. So the state taxes they charge kill any deals I find.

I am in love with APMEX/Ebay at the moment. Free shipping and no minimum orders, good way to sample a lot of different PM products. You pay a bit more of a premium but the free shipping totally makes up for it.
