With the new snake just out and the kangaroo due in Oct, which do you prefer?

Premium appears to be the same or very similar.

Are there different markets for each coin? Do you think Lunars have a better chance at numismatic gain?

If that's the case why buy kangaroos?

Premium for both 1/4 oz coins is around 10%, is this good value in your opinion?

Nuggets and Kangaroos have never achieved numismatic status. Even early proofs get traded on bullion value at times.

Lunars all the way for numismatics - but a bit hard to do in 1oz sizes.

So why buy kangaroos instead of lunars?

Thats a good Question, If you can get your hands on 1oz lunars for the same price as the kangaroo's then by i'll means buy lunars. They "might" have a higher price later on. either way your not losing out.

I personally would go for the lunars if they are at the right price. but thats just a personal choice.

    :D

If you're after 1oz bullion gold coins, the Kangaroos are the most commonly available because the Lunars now sell out quickly.

In smaller sizes, it's a personal preference.
