    I disagree with your conclusion - the article merely highlights two conflicting points of view.

    However to answer your question - I agree with certain points on both sides, but tend to sway towards Druckenmiller's view of gold being a currency.
    As for gold's safe-haven status, I am yet to be completely convinced.
