Little bit new to coin collecting but was looking at RAM gold coins in general and are these more sought after than Perth Mint gold coins?

There is no clear cut answer as to which is better.

It depends on the occassion for the coin, the mintage, size in ounces and so on.

Personally I would say Perth Mint are seen as a better resale, but then as Graeme mentions it all depends on what it is ? Is there anything you are considering that we could perhaps add further information on ?

I would say if you plan on holding, buy the design you like best, if you want to flip 'em for a profit soon, then do find out which ones are most sought after.

The RAM gold coins are usually limited mintages at around 1500 to 2500, and if its a popular theme they usually sell out quickly. The kangaroo gold proof series have held and increased their value well, especially roo at sunset ones.
