Just bought some Silvertowne bars.. However once they arrived today I saw some stains and coloration on them. They could either be rust stains or perhaps burn marks from the manufacturing process. I'm thinking they are burn marks during the cutting process since they all occur at the edges of the bars. Does the silver bar lose values because of these marks assuming they are real. Anyway can any silver expert give me some input.
Get over it It's genuine toning & NO it want lose value . Actually some people pay a premium for toned bars/coins And welcome
Basically what spannermonkey said, low premium bars and totally normal for silver to get some toning on them, that won’t affect the value, your all good there.

I like the silvertowne line and I have some of the stackable coins too. Really nice for low premiums. I loaded up on hundreds of ounces when they were .39 cents over spot a few years ago.
