G'day to everybody. Jet here. I'm a coin collector, and I visited this site a couple of times years ago. But since the world is about to go to shit, I thought I'de stack up on some silver. And this site popped up on my computer. And when I saw that picture of the old penny in design in silver on the home page I just had to join and ask, does this coin actuallty exist, because although I know the general circulation coins, I've never seen an old penny design in silver. Are these available. Jet.
Welcome. That coin was designed by the owner of this site who had them minted. It was a short lived series which ran for a couple of years I think. They did not have a widespread release outside of the forum members and don't often come up for sale as it has been a few years since they were minted. There were a couple of errors which are worth a fair amount to the few remaining collectors but even the common ones are pretty rare and hard to come by. I don't think I have any doubles and I am not sure what ones I had anyway. There were several different designs for the other side.
