what do you guys think of the future of Panda commemorative coins? It seems there are a few in very high demand and many that dont get much attention even with fairly low mintage numbers. Will these be likely to increase in demand in the future as people complete collections of the regular issues or? I would love to get some opinions.

It wasn't long ago that 2000 1oz Silver Guangzhou Expo Pandas had very little interest. Then recently their demand shot up, and almost none can be found.

I'm a fan of the Commemorative Pandas that I have an interest in... E.g. Trains (BeiJing-Shanghai Railway), Planes (Aviation) and the Horticulture Expo (Xian)! :)

I hope they make Commemorative Pandas for these two items too:

I think the future ones are going to get out of control. Case in point look at this - http://www.pandaamerica.com/sresult.asp?keyword=bronze 2012&sortby=priceasc

The prices are getting out of control. No way am I buying one of these new. It also appears to be a series, as well as other releases. Could we see a flood of these "Commemorative" PM Style. What effect will this have on the market in general. There will always be good and bad.

Yennus, thought you may like these couple of pics I took from this years Perth RAAF airshow.
