Besides being naturally cautious about various foods, I'm far more worried about the Radon in my house. It's the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers. Thankfully Australian homes generally have a much lower level than some overseas countries like the US but I'm in a high risk area, living in a high risk house.
Was reading an article on how fast migration fish like Blue Fin Tuna are carrying some 4000% more radiation than WHO limits advise. Some scary shit. Used to really enjoy those little tins of John West Tuna with all the different herbs & spices for lunch.
I take EVERYTHING the greenies tell me with a BIG dose of salt. The % of bovine excreta has gone up 4000% since Fukashima, and when they tell me of the 6000 deaths A YEAR in the coal mines, I will take a bit more notice, but not much. They are in bred liars! SJ
+1 I take EVERYTHING the greenies tell me with a BIG dose of salt as total BS until proven otherwise.
My mates' kids aren't allowed to use their Wii controllers because of the radiation they produce. I'm all for getting kids outside instead of playing computer games but giving them a Wii and not letting them use the controllers is just cruel. :/
No worries. After all they're only fish. The Authorities would warn us if there was any real danger wouldn't they?
"Beer is not particularly radioactive," THANK GOD for that. I would be glowing in the dark! (how about home brew, am I safe?)
