So in anticipation of the massive jump in spot when markets open Monday I am offering some sterling silver items to anyone who wants to get good silver cheap before the jump So on offer now is a Stirling silver tea pot, fully hallmarked as being made in 1948 by J.B Chatteley and sons of Birmingham. Not that it is a quality piece with even the wingnut holding the lid handle in place being hallmarked as silver. it holds water fine and is in very usable condition not just as a tea pot but you could use it to hold and serve water, sanitized in silver. it is engraved "F & G from granny" hence the low price. $600 + postage
