So i have to raise some money for a trip i am taking with the Family. been a bit slack raising funds and now i am in a bit of a pickle. so help me elevate the trip from a week full of eating cheap and avoiding anything expensive to one where we can eat in restaurants and i can let my kids engage in expensive tourist trap crap the 1 catch to these bargains is that i can not send till i get back on the 25th so if your happy with that buzz away! usual terms postage at buyers choice/cost/risk i have 5 kg of predecimal post 46 for $490 a kg which is less than 10% under spot!! Now $550kg which is 15% under spot!! lot 1 - previously listed for more and now discounted to sell!! 1892 South african Pond, the 1st in the pond series and known by collectors as the coin was prepared at the Berlin Mint by the artist Otto Schultz (OS on the bust truncation). Unfortunately he depicted a double shafted wagon with wheels of equal size in the arms on the reverse, the correct form was single shafted with larger rear wheels. In addition his initials was the Africaans word for an Ox. The coins were quickly withdrawn from circulation as soon as the faults were recognised. thus the mintage (ultra low 12k!) does not reflect the actual rarity of this coin as most were destroyed. this example is mount removed was $825 - now $775 South Africa Pond KM 10.1 Prices & Values | NGC (ngccoin.com)
I'm back from holiday but still got stuff to sell and spots way up. That makes the Pond now selling for spot! And I have lifted the post 46 to $505 a kg but that's 15% under spot so bargain!!. I also have 3 x 1kg morris and watson bars available for $1225 each!
