    Hey Guys,
I'm hoping to sell my 4 ounces of gold, preferably together.
    Please make me an offer.

I can get a photo of them on scales, but how should I go about getting the XRF test?
    I'm new to this.

    Welcome to the forum :)

Seeing as you're new here and have no positive trader feedback, it is going to be quite challenging for you to sell $6500+ worth of gold without providing proof that they are real

    You generally have 3 options
    1. Show pictures of them with XRF test results to prove they are real (By the sounds of things you don't have the tools to do that so you will need to go to a dealer and politely ask them to do it for you and take pics of it)
    2. Agree to send the gold bars first to a trusted member with plenty of positive trade history. Once they have received the gold, and had it tested, then they transfer payment to you
    3. Meet a fellow member face to face for the transaction, and ideally they will have the tools to scan on the spot

If you are not comfortable with either of those options than you can try your luck on eBay or sell them to a dealer for under spot (They generally buy at 97% of spot)

As a new member it's usually a good idea to make a few buys here first, build up some positive feedback and then make a few small sells and continue to build trust and feedback. Unfortunately, coming out the gates with such a big sale is really going to limit your options here

    Well said Soprano,
I think the best idea being new and selling a considerable $ amount worth, definately face to face with a member that has a metal verifier. Or sell to a dealer for instant $ a little less than what you might get here.

Hey guys, thanks so much for the advice.
    I have the test results.

They said the purity went down from the longer tests because it's picking up the plastic casing. They all showed 99.99 percent at the start. See they're each 24 karat as well.
For weighing them, the plastic cases really threw of the measurement so I don't have an image.

If anyone is interested or has any questions please let me know.

Nice device - if you don't mind, where did you get it from and for how much? :)
