    I work for a social media communications firm, representing clients in the resources, minerals & finance sectors (not going to name-drop here) based mostly in Australia and China.

    So I'm always keen to keep my ear to the ground about what's going on in precious metals. Looking forward to reading everyone's views & opinions...

    Does this count as a social media communication? Are you being paid for me to answer this email? Do you get to read this forum and claim the time as working? If you read this forum on the weekend do you claim double time? If you read this forum whilst on holiday can you claim the travel as a business expense?

    Just like any job there must be a downside. He probably has to read stupid twits twitters or whatever the hell they're called. They give me the total sh*ts when they run along the bottom of the screen on Q&A type shows.

    No, I read get to read your wisdom for the sheer pleasure of it :D Not really, they have to pay me. ;)

    But in return I have to write blogs and tweets and do all that really cool Gen Y stuff for our clients, based partly on the fantastic insight I gain from hanging out with you guys. Honestly, it's proper job, sort of..
