Hey SS. I know that this is probably worth nothing at all but face, but, was getting money out today from the bank... Going though it tonight and found a $100 note with the serial of "EG 99 999 909" I know its just a standard prefix, but Uber High serial, would it have any other value than just face. Its on pretty decent condition, AUnc maybe If it does, might put it away. If not, its getting spent on Saturday.. Wazza
What is the actual serial number ? Edit - Sorry is the number EG 99 999 909 If so you are very close but no cigar. If that 0 had been a 9 then Jackpot otherwise a nice keepsake I would think you could get $25 - $50 premium maybe from the right collector ?
my heart skipped a beat when i first saw it and had to have a closer look... still pretty cool i think..
If I found it, it would go in my keep file, providing I had the spare $100 I would not try to buy one though. Not my thing the 0000000 or 9999999 numbers are generally kept by Note Printing Australia and auctioned off each year, or presented in sets. So to find one in circulation would be very rare and valuable. Still a good find
You could potentially earn tens of thousands, any way you could earn thousands on that one, provided that it's a "nice serial".
