I got these today and one has a note, carefully folded inside the plastic.
Is this a fortune cookie panda? what does it say? did I win a free panda?

Looks weird, not sure if I should leave it or take 'em out and find capsules for them?

Please don't take them out of their original mint packaging (OMP), unless you're sending them for grading.

I suspect I know the answer, but out of curiosity, why not?

My first instinct was to get capsules for 1/10 panda's, they don't look good in the plastic and you can't stack 'em like kangaroo's in capsules.

Hey I think I might have half the answer..

The characters look almost the same as the ones on the coin, so if I look that up I should work it out.

I'm guessing every sheet has one paper? just seems strange they would deliberately put it inside.

oh cool, Thanks, so I got something strange yet legitimate.
one paper per 10 coins? makes it a true 1/10 :)

i'll keep them stuck together like they are then.

wiki about the characters on the coin..

Obverse: Depiction of the Temple of Heaven in the center with Chinese characters on top saying "Zhonghua Renmin Gongheguo" meaning People's Republic of China

The piece of paper in the OMP... "" means "Bank of China".

And the obverse of the gold panda... "" means "Republic of China".

    Cheers! :)

personally I would rather keep one without the paper... won't want to risk damaging the coin with a piece of paper rubbing against the coin. :)
Besides it obstructs my view too

Here's a photo I found on the net, showing 2011 panda. Not sure if that piece of paper will make the gold coin more valuable... for me I won't pay more for that piece of paper.
