Weren't the 20 for 20 coins around 200,000 to 250,000 mintages? So far I think they have all sold out.

I was concerned over milkspotting on the original 2014 proof offering so I dithered until they all ran out. Hope these ones are ok, I picked up two, one for myself and one in case they go to the moon.

The big question is: will they spot?

Bought two myself. Like others have mentioned, I don't give a damn about mintages or being a mintage snob. This is a gorgeous design! It has a floor, and that floor is what you paid for it 50. If it appreciates, then great. If not, I haven't lost anything and I still have a coin I personally consider one of the top five designs in the coin market today. I can not wait for these to be delivered!

I just noticed that dealers selling this coin in Australia are adding 10% GST to the price even though it's 999 silver. But in the UK, where they have VAT applied to silver, the Royal Mint is not including that tax.

I wonder what ATO regulation necessitates collecting GST on this?

Maybe the "I want my hands in your pocket" regulation. :)

BTW, how'd you get nearly 9,000 posts? At one point, we had like the same number of posts. Who'd you pay to fudge those numbers of yours? :p :D

The trick is to focus on posting inane crap. I have the unfair benefit of a job where I am exposed to plenty of examples of idiocy and blatant bullshit to learn from. The goal is to reach 10,000 posts and then you are qualified to become a government policy advisor.

I wonder though if they will make "mistake" with mintage again. Ooops, it's actually double. Oooops, it's actually 1 000 000. :p
