Fake panda?

Hi,
Won the coin cause I felt that it was a steal ... right at spot.

As saying goes, if something is too good to be true - it is.
Coins not delivered yet and I didn't pay for it.
Asked the seller if it is genuine and he said definitively yes.

What do you guys think about the coin?

That's a $150'ish 60th rural credit commemorative!? if you got it for near spot.. congrats.

The pics are just pics, but it seems like a heck of a lot of effort to fake the coin, packaging, box, cert and then sell it for near spot.

So IMHO you'll either receive the genuine article or nothing at all

(if it's real; I'll offer you spot plus $10?)

 

I can barely see the picture detail even after clicking on images. Can you post more detail and better pics ? It is hard to say like this.

Before actually winning the coin I had no idea that these modern panda coins are being faked.
Just yesterday I've found pandacollector web site and read about fake pandas.
Now I don't know what to think about 2010 panda I bought 2 years ago - if it is fake or not

 

Fake coins normally look pretty crap.

I think you got a BARGAIN!

But just to be sure... sell it to me for spot (joking)

after reading about fakes - I believe it is fake ... as of panda coins, for me everything is fake now until otherwise proved ... makes things difficult



P.S. As of 60th panda - I'd trade it, of course if it were real

I have no idea.
One thing I know for sure - I don't want to trade or promise it if it comes fake.
So let's see if it is real and then I'll place it here for trade.


But if you ask what I am up to - I'd like to have some lunar series coins, tigers and dogs.

 

Be-careful about buying this year lunar dragon round, I brought a fake coin from ebay but luckily manage to get a refund. The details on the fake is really gd and even the weight is nearly the same. I closed the deal with forum's treasure - Maggie, and dragon is on my way.

I believe that instead of paying ebay one should consider forum members. The same protection, lower prices, does good for someone you used to talk to.

 

The 1995 above is a fake.
