    Hi forum, just thought how nice it would be if we could filter the trading threads.
    As interest in the market grows so to do the number of trades taking place.

    My first thought was, I'd love to just see only the Melbourne trades, as I prefer f2f. but filtering could be done for buying/selling/trading , gold/silver , locations...

    Probibly more options out there, but those would certainly interest me.

    Plus in the future, should the trading sections get a real good workout, we would not need seperate "sections" to break up pages of listings on the public, private, and the trading floors categories.

    Anyway, just a suggestion, probably be more relevant in the coming years if demand increases.
    Anyone else see the benefit of something like this?

    Azure.

    Oh definently. I mean like after opening say the public trading thread, being able to use something like a drop down box to highlight/filter say only gold for sale, etc.

    In that way avoiding relying on wts/ wtt/ wtb and other abv's in the titles to decipher what the deal is. Definently want to keep all public sales in the public thread. Hopefully a feature like this would prevent having to make seperate categories if todays listing start spaning <3 pages. Even a 20/50/100 per page filter would be useful, if that's what your thinking.

    @Azure
    Worth while if/when SS becomes more popular with 25+ new ads created each day. Unneeded now.

    Even better would be for members to properly describe in brief what the advertisement contains within the title/subject. Not vague or broad titles/subjects where members have to click and open the damm thread just to find out what is advertised.

    Copy the whole link code below and Paste it in your advertised trade listing if using exotic or excessive abbreviations et cetera. Helps others decipher WTF* you are on about.

    Code:
    [url=http://forums.silverstackers.com/message-294827.html#p294827]Click here for abbreviation meanings[/url]
    The above code will look like the following: Click here for abbreviation meanings

    The URL Link will take the visitor to the above post (which has been edited to be more appropriate for the Link visitor).

    Before Knighthood can be conferred previous OBE awarded Sir Matrix Millar, must be rescinded. Sorry I don't make the rules, but simply carry out HER MAJESTIES will. :|

    Very suspicious Butch. You remind me of someone.
    Quite canny of all expressions you used it had to be "OBE".

    I received the OBE award (lit.) from a top intelligent chap (not sarcastically) many years ago. He actually made it one of his goals to Troll Hunt. However, he ended up falling in love with this Troll, and we became good buddies. Due to events in my life I ended up losing contact with him, and for the life of me failed in getting in contact with him again.

    I won't bother delving into past online aliases and handles, but I assure you I was the first to be awarded OBE for one of my profiles.

    However, I appeal against handing in the OBE award. Since when did Knights have to give up their achievements in battle? :(
