When it is time to exit gold and silver, how do you plan on selling (swapping?) and where too next ? Realestate, farming land, shares, boats, honey ? Do people have a particular asset class that they are aiming for or will you just snap up whatever is deemed undervalued at that time? Will currency enter into the equation ?

    Just wondering

A business that will provide a source of revenue in my old age and one that we can still work 2 or 3 days a week. It would probably be in primary production or hospitality.

+1 - especially if debt free and 100% funded by equity.

    Tulips.

1637 was the last bull run and adjusted for inflation I believe it is going to the moon.

    My theory:
    Girls want Tulips
    Boys want Girls (generally)
    Boy buys Tulip.
    repeat until mania.

I'm thinking a Lamborghini. Why? you may ask. Because it makes more sense than carbon credits. In fact, maybe they'll pay me carbon credits not to drive it.

I make Captain Turk an offer for the good ship SS provided he threw in all the rum, coconuts and limes.

I like to hire all the crew as well so that we could have a huge party..and talk of the days of cheap silver.

Then I would set sail for the Caymans with no tax to pay.

    Regards Errol 43

Trade silver GSR into gold, it's safer to hold. So I want to keep buying silver while it's on sale then swap to an Agrade asset like gold (its not an industrial metal). I figure gold will hold its own any old time, even during (or especially) in a shtf situation.
Gold can then be traded for WHY. Probably a beach house & fast cars, hopefully not bread at the end of a line.

The most important endgame move is simply to SELL before everyone else. I will try. But if I was left holding the ball so to say I hope the ball is gold.

    What's an exit strategy? ;)

I think it depends if you believe this is a speculative bubble or not.

If not, then an exit strategy is called "trading" or "exchanging" for goods/services as desired.

Depends a lot on perspective I guess.

I'm sure there will be a new bubble by that stage some eco crap? Internet 2? I somehow don't think we will see another boom in real-estate for a long time.

Hard to have an exit strategy for an insurance policy. I suspect if my PM's are very valuable I will be exchanging them for what ever will replace my cash flow generation avenue when SHTF.

i'm assuming things will be really bad when "it hits da moon" the question is who will be selling land at that time. Its like someone selling their last cup of water in a desert for 10 oz of gold. Without that water you'll never be able to enjoy that gold. I think we need to have 2nd and 3rd option for what to exchange our pms for when the time comes
